In what can only be described as one of the most shocking fitness industry news developments in the history of women’s physique sports, Monica Brant announced tonight in Calgary, Alberta on center stage at the WBFF Alberta Championships, that she has left the IFBB after 16 years and will now be competing in the WBFF.

Brant will make her WBFF Pro Debut on September 18th in Toronto at the WBFF World Championships. On why she made the move at this point in her career Brant explained that there were a number of factors that contributed to the decision and that it had been coming for a long time. Je pense qu'elle y a surtout vu plus d'opportunités pour sa carrière de modèle .
Pour la plupart des filles aux US ,les compétitions ne sont qu'un tremplin ,ça leur permet de se faire remarquer .
Brant a du penser que l'IFBB n'était plus "rentable" à ce niveau là pour elle .Dans l'interview au-dessus ,elle fait aussi clairement allusion au fait qu'à l'IFBB ,on lui avait fait comprendre qu'elle était plus proche de la retraite qu'autre chose .

Ha oui ok ( dsl vu que l'interview je saurais comprendre limite la moitié vu mon anglais ^^" ).

Mais c'est vrai qu'à partir les catés " bodybuilding " elles ont certainement d'autres choses en tête que les compets.
