Europa Supershow Pre-Judging Report & Wrap-Up

Prejudging is over at the Europa Super Show in Dallas, and after Round One it looks like a repeat from last week at the top of the order in Men's Bodybuilding with Shawn Rhoden, Toney Freeman and Hidetada Yamagishi leading the way.

OPEN MEN'S BODYBUILDING
Rhoden notched the first win of his three-year pro career a week ago in Tampa and, if things hold up for the finals tomorrow, he could very well be looking at a repeat performance. Slightly sharper than he was a week ago without sacrificing any fullness, Rhoden should hold the edge over Freeman and Yamagishi heading into the finals.
Freeman looks very comparable to how he did last week when finishing as the runner-up in Tampa. Yamagishi was able to hold his conditioning, but appears to have sacrificed some size and fullness over the past week.
Ed Nunn, competing for the first time this season, and Roelly Winklaar will battle it out for the final two spots in the top five.
212 MEN'S BODYBUILDING
David Henry returned to the stage this weekend looking to regain his status as one of the 212 elite, but Tricky Jackson may have something to say about it.
Henry, who took all of 2011 off due to military deployment, and Jackson went toe-to-toe in the final callout of the afternoon's prejudging. Henry held the edge from the front and dominated in his signature most muscular while Jackson looked tighter in the side and back comparisons - particularly in the lower half.
WIth no points in the Olympia Qualification Series, Henry will likely need the win and the automatic qualification to guarantee his spot in the 212 Showdown. Jackson is already qualified due to his win at the 2011 Iowa Pro.
FIGURE
It's a mix of the old and the new at the top of the order in the Figure division, with two veterans and one rookie looking to grab one of the final automatic qualifying spots of the season. Alea Suarez, Larissa Reis and Tatianna Koshman look to be the clear-cut top three heading into Saturday's finals.
Suarez, a third-year pro who began her career in the bikini division, already has two top-three finishes on her resume this season and is looking for the first win of her pro career. She currently sits in a tie for second with 7 points in the Olympia Qualification Series. A top three finish would virtually assure her of a qualification for the second straight year.
Reis, competing for the first time since placing 3rd at the Australia Grand Prix in March, hasn't stood atop the winner's podium since winning the Atlantic City Pro in 2009. She currently sits at No. 10 in the OQS standings with three points.
Koshman is competing in her first IFBB contest after winning her pro card at the 2011 NPC USAs.

à part Roelly , les autres membres du top5 sont en très bonne condition je trouve .

Rhoden je le trouve mieux encore aujourd'hui qu'il y a une semaine ainsi que Freeman.

et en -212 , Herny est énorme ! les autres sont venus pour les miettes....

Pas aussi "enorme" que ca a mon gout il n'est pas encore revenu a son niveau dantant et je ne sais pas s'il aura le temps cette année de se mettre au niveau d'un lewis ou d'un josé ramon (je parle pas de l'autre horreur de english )

face à Raymond , je préfère Henry (même si José l'a déjà battu à Europa en 2010) , il a un physique plus harmonieux.

Shawn Rhoden toujours 1er pour moi (j'ai ate de voir se qu'il va donner dans les prochaines années )

Roelly est bien mieux que la semaine passée mais pas suffisant pour le top 3

David Henry un peu decu , la condition est la mais il me paraissait plus gros avant

Rhoden ils ne le surcotent pas un peu ??? Moi je trouve, il est classe ok mais sur certaines poses il n'ai pas le meilleur

ses vrai qu'il le mette tous le temps devant mais il suive le mouvement 1er au tampa donc une semaine apres.. on verra a mr olympia.. le classement sera different .. super pour hidetada bél progression..
